Your Tasks
- As a (Senior) Consultant you are involved in digital accounting projects in the insurance industry
- You act as an interface between business and IT, taking responsibility onsite for the client
- You are responsible for accounting projects in the operational business of the customer, e.g. support of the consolidation of quarterly and annual financial statements and in their reporting according to IFRS and HGB
- You will analyze and design functional requirements for the S/4HANA Finance System in cooperation with the business department
- On top: You have first experience in SAP 1st & 2nd level support of the business department, user management as well as further development of the authorization concept
- You collaborate in internal team activities like knowledge transfer of existing or new accounting standards, setup of knowledge databases with focus on digitization and accounting
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in economics, (business) informatics/computer science, (business) mathematics, insurance or a comparable course of study
- Nice to have: You have experience in IFRS17 or HGB
- You have high interest in digital transformation in the insurance industry, especially the design of future-oriented financial processes
- You possess profound SAP knowledge (also customizing), especially regarding FI-GL, FI-AA and FI-AP - experience with SAP S/4HANA desirable
- Ideally, you have first experience in dealing with the mapping of finance processes in ERP systems
- You have business fluency in German and English
- You are willing to travel
